We’re proud to be part of the Travelife hotel sustainability programme, highlighting our commitment as an eco-friendly hotel in Rhodes. We have implemented several strategies and policies that make us more sustainable, not only environmentally, but with respect to our employees, local community, and our guests. Our efforts include the following:
- A children’s policy against exploitation
- An employee policy that supports employee wellbeing
- A local community strategy that contributes to the local economy
- A water-saving policy for employees (note that our large lagoon pool is filled with seawater, saving huge amounts of freshwater), including a linen/towel reuse programme for guests
- An environmental strategy that monitors and corrects resource use and environmental issues, including quality assurance, hygiene measures,minimizing waste/food waste and environmental protection and employee training
Our corporate social responsibility actions at our eco-friendly hotel in Rhodes also include forest protection and beach cleaning in Rhodes, two hands-on activities that we’re very proud of.
